Can a Green Card Holder Sponsor Their Parents for Green Card?

Answer

A Green Card holder, also known as a Permanent Resident, cannot directly sponsor their parents to become Green Card holders. Only U.S. citizens can petition for their parents. Once a Green Card holder becomes a U.S. citizen, they can then sponsor their parents for a Green Card.
