What is a Conditional Green Card?

A conditional green card is a temporary, two-year residency granted to certain individuals who have gained U.S permanent resident status. This is typically granted to those who have been married to a U.S citizen for less than two years or those who achieved resident status through an EB-5 investor visa. After two years, the holder must apply to have the conditions removed.
